Independent NHS panel confirms CCG plans for Urgent Care
The Urgent Care review proposals by the East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group were first unveiled earlier this year. The plans to change a number of minor injury units across East Yorkshire have been given the go-ahead by an independent NHS panel, which may affect residents in parts of the East Riding.
It will see the MIUs being changed to urgent care centres in Beverley, Bridlington and Goole.
Patients will still be able to book daytime appointments for minor injuries at the Alfred Bean hospital in Driffield and Withernsea community hospital.
