Have your say on improving access to GP services

15/01/2018

From 2019, East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be looking to use additional funding from NHS England to improve patient access to GP services by making more appointments available outside of standard GP practice opening hours.

THe CCG know that some practices already provide a limited evening and weekend service but we want to extend this so that everyone in the East Riding is able to access appointments in evenings and/or weekends if they wish to do so. To ensure that this extended service is available to everyone we are proposing that all appointments offered will be from a range of locations, including GP practices. These appointments will be open to all patients, not just those registered at that practice.

The CCG have created a short survey to gather your views; the outcome of this survey will help to inform our discussions with GP practices and help to ensure proposals fit the need of our local residents.

The survey can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ERYextendedaccess.

Closing date is 31 January 2018
