Are you an unpaid carer in the East Riding?
Healthwatch wants to hear from you.
Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire (HWERY), the independent watchdog for health and social care services in the East Riding, is conducting research into Carers in the East Riding. They are seeking the views of the public on the support they, or their friends and relatives, receive.
In the coming weeks, HWERY will be out with a questionnaire, the survey is open to all East Riding residents who are an unpaid carer and people are being encouraged to share their views even online if they do not see us at any events.
Questionnaires can be completed online, via the Healthwatch website, or in person at our events across the East Riding. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HWERYCarers
Delivery Manager at HWERY, Matthew Fawcett, said:
“Unpaid carers often have their needs forgotten about, Healthwatch want to make sure that we collect every individuals view as it will help paint a picture as to what the needs are for unpaid carers and what local services can do to help.
The survey will be online and available on request. We will also be at Driffield Show on the 19th of July. If you would like to take part come and say hello.”
